Volunteering

About Our Auxiliary

Since its establishment in 1950, our Saint Alphonsus Auxiliary has donated more than $3 million to Saint Alphonsus programs. We have funded such things as the Remembrance Rose Garden, the Wellness Trail and Dustin’s Paw and have provided scholarships for the Early Learning Center, Sweet Kid’s Day Camp, and Camp Super Breathers.

Funds are raised through the Gift Shop profits and other fundraisers such as Jewelry, Book and Plant Sales. We also host a Valentine Social, Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show, Christmas Tea, bridge and pinochle marathons, as well as many other fun social events!

Who We Are
Our auxiliary is an organization that serves in three ways:

  • Volunteerism
  • Public Relations for Saint Alphonsus in the community
  • Financial Contribution

Saint Alphonsus Auxiliary Mission Statement
Saint Alphonsus Auxiliary was organized to make a difference in patron care and hospitality, and to serve Saint Alphonsus Hospital in fund raising and community support through social events. The Auxiliary exists today to encompass not only the founder’s goals, but also to allow the Auxilians to promote fellowship and cultivate leadership qualities within the membership.

Membership options:

  • Member: $10.00 (per year)
    • Active Volunteer
  • Sustaining Member: $20.00 (per year)
    • Active or Non-Active Volunteer          
  • Lifetime Member: $200.00 (one time)
    • Active or Non-Active Volunteer

Benefits to members:

  • 20% discount in the Gift Shop.
  • Privilege and convenience of using hospital pharmacy.
  • A quarterly newsletter to keep you informed of events, fund raisers and social affairs.
