General Thoracic Surgery

The General Thoracic Surgery Service provides consultative and therapeutic services for benign and malignant diseases of the trachea, lung, chest wall, and esophagus. The pediatric thoracic surgery service provides consultative and therapeutic services for congenital malformations of the chest wall and disorders of the lung.

Referrals are made by calling the Saint Alphonsus information desk 208-367-2121. Medical emergencies may also be referred to the Emergency Medical Center at 208-367-3221, where a member of the Cardiothoracic Surgery service is available at all times.
