Pediatric Rehabilitation

For children who need comprehensive rehabilitation treatment, we offer a full program of pediatric rehabilitation services under the direction of neurologically-trained therapists.

The goal of our therapy is to encourage each child's development within a healthy family environment. Our coordinated team approach provides interdisciplinary care that centers on family participation, education and training. We use warm water pool therapy to promote age-appropriate play with family members and will provide home treatments when it is in the best interest of the child and family. Our program also includes helping the child integrate into school and community.

Our approach to therapy is based on neuro-development and sensory integration. Comprehensive treatment is provided by physical, occupational, speech and recreation therapists, as well as neuropsychologists. Consultations are available in the areas of diet/nutrition, nursing and orthopaedic concerns.
