Management of Head Injuries in Sports
In partnership with Saint Alphonsus Trauma Services, a program has been developed to provide an assessment tool for coaches, trainers and those who provide instruction to student athletes. Use of this assessment tool is to determine the possibility of a brain injury and provide immediate medical attention.

Brain injury causes more deaths than any other sports injury. Surgeons from the Trauma Center and the INI participate by presenting this program to area high schools.
