Life Flight's Newest Team Member
Each year Life Flight is asked to participate in many community events throughout the region. While we try to attend many events to offer safety and prevention education, our Life Flight helicopters simply cannot make it to them all.

So, with three years of planning and a little help from some inventive friends, we are proud to unveil the newest helicopter in our Life Flight fleet—"Little Al!"

"Little Al" is a small, driveable helicopter, built on the frame of a golf cart. It comes complete with a sound system that provides sound effects for the propeller, simulated dispatch calls, and a public address system. Its compact, cartoon-like character makes it very portable and is guaranteed to be a hit with kids—big and small!

Purchased with Life Flight designated donations, Little Al will allow us to attend many more events around the region, and enable us to save costs typically incurred by flying Life Flight medical helicopters to these events.
