Saint Alphonus has a variety of supportive cancer programs for our patients. Click on any supportive care link to learn more.

  • Inpatient Oncology: The medical oncology continuum of care is supported by oncology-educated nurses and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Genetic Counseling: Our genetic counselor provides education and risk assessment for people who, based upon personal and family history, are at high risk for developing cancer.
  • Marrow Donor Registry: Saint Alphonsus is a Donor Center for the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), which provides marrow and blood stem cell transplants for patients with leukemia and other life-threatening blood diseases.
  • Pain Management: The Saint Alphonsus Pain Management team is also available to work with us in giving you the best pain management strategy possible.
  • Breast Care Services
  • Integrative Care: The Cancer Care Center provides multiple support services that have an integral role in our ability to care for you during treatment.
  • Parish Health: The Saint Alphonsus Parish Health Ministry is a liaison between the hospital, church and community.
  • Chaplaincy: Our chaplains' approach is non-denominational, listening to and honoring the beliefs of each individual while offering prayer and spiritual guidance.
  • The Amyx Family Resource Library: The Amyx family has helped us create an educational resource center complete with books, guided imagery cassette tapes, CDs, DVDs and videos that focus on cancer, treatment, support and healing.
  • Kissler Family Health Sciences Library: The primary focus of the Kissler Library's collection is clinical medicine with supplementary materials in management and consumer health.
