Amyx Family Resource Library for Patient Education

The Amyx Family Resource Library, funded by The Amyx Foundation, Inc., provides Saint Alphonsus Cancer Care patients and members of the community easy access to reputable information resources on cancer prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, complementary therapies and survivorship issues.

Funds have been used to purchase computer stations in our cancer facilities with access to credible Internet health sites supported by National Cancer Institute, American Cancer Society and other reputable agencies. Funds have also gone toward purchasing a portable library at each facility that includes books, DVDs and CDs that patients can use as they undergo long sessions of chemotherapy.
