Treatment Philosophy
The Addiction Recovery Center at Saint Alphonsus is
licensed by the state of Idaho, and is the only intensive outpatient treatment
program in the Treasure Valley certified by the Joint Commission of Hospital
Accreditation (JCAHO). As part of this certification, we are required to offer
individualized treatment programming for all of our patients. We do this by
building an individualized treatment schedule from a variety of treatment options.
The ARC is unique in its ability to offer individualized treatment in an intensive, group treatment venue. Additionally, as part of the rubric of medical center services, interventions are both evidence-based and have a high level of clinical sophistication grounded in both etiological (cause) and epidemiological (symptom) based considerations. As a result, our treatment program offers both immediate relief and enduring benefits.
How do I know if I need addiction recovery?
We offer confidential screenings to determine whether you have a need
for addiction treatment. Chemical dependency is a progressive, debilitating
disorder that is bio-psycho-social in nature. Its effects can reach far into
your life. These are the issues that we address in our program:
Recovery depends on trust and anonymity. ALL INQUIRIES ARE STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL. We offer screenings to all members of the community to help determine the level of care needed.
There are several programs at the Saint Alphonsus Addiction Recovery Center. The one that is right for you is determined by the results of your screening. These are the different programs:
Our continuum of care addresses the issues that can lead to relapse. These are the tools we teach to avoid a return to destructive patterns:
Many chemically-dependent people stay sober from the start. Some continue to return to the physical, emotional or mental patterns associated with using. Relapse can also involve a return to the use of the substance. Our Relapse Prevention Program offers the hope of a lasting, meaningful sobriety to relapse-prone individuals or those struggling in sobriety. Our road map to recovery includes individualized, professional counseling and a proven effective therapy model for relapse prevention.
