Michael A. Patmas, MD
CEO, Saint Alphonsus Medical Group

Dr. Patmas joined Saint Alphonsus in July 2007 as CEO of the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group.  He provides clinical and administrative leadership for the medical group and oversees the financial, operational and clinical functions within Saint Alphonsus Physician Services.

Dr. Patmas is board certified in internal medicine and is also a Certified Physician Executive. He obtained his MD from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency in the University of Nevada Affiliated Hospitals.   Dr. Patmas also has a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Southern California – Marshall School of Business. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Physician Executives. 

Dr. Patmas has practiced general internal medicine for over twenty years and has held several faculty appointments. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Geriatrics at Oregon Health and Science University. He was a Regional Medical Director for the University of Pennsylvania Health System and served as Medical Director of the Providence Ambulatory Care and Education Center.  Most recently, he was Vice President of Medical Affairs and Medical Director at Clear Choice Health Plans.

Dr. Patmas lives in Eagle, Idaho with his wife and three children.
